Two-time defendng Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I state champion St. Edward was a 27-10 winner over Center Grove, which has won three straight Class 6A state championships in Indiana.
Ohio schools have won the first two games in the Northeast Ohio vs. America Showcase, following Massilon’s 28-17 win over Valdosta, Georgia, on Friday.
The Eagles (1-0) host Good Counsel from Maryland next week.
